To Suoh, Munakata is probably the only one who can share his burden, to ‘got his back’.

But during the entire incident, Suoh didn’t ever really look towards Munakata. He was too occupied staring at the sky, desperately trying to find the small, flickering candlelight that once belonged to Totsuka.
At least not until the very end, when finally, Suoh acknowledged that he needed him, he needed the Blue King to end his life, that he, the Red King, needed help.
